Privacy Policy

Who we are

SkidWick is the patented terrain-following herbicide wick applicator invented by Larry Williams (US Patent #12648512). This policy covers the website at skidwick.com and explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Questions? Email info@skidwick.com or call +1 (903) 235-9090.

Information you give us

The only place this site asks for personal information is the contact form. If you choose to use it, you provide your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message field.

We use that information for one purpose: to reply to you about licensing SkidWick. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Form submissions are delivered by Web3Forms, which passes the message to our email inbox. Our @skidwick.com email is routed through ImprovMX (forwarding) and Brevo (sending). Each of these providers processes your message in order to deliver it. We keep the resulting email correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and to maintain our business records.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use this site — which pages get read, how long people stay, roughly where in the world they are. This is aggregate audience measurement. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not run advertising on this site.

When analytics is active, Google sets two cookies in your browser:

Google Analytics also processes your IP address in order to approximate your location and to apply the regional consent rules described below. Advertising and personalization signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are switched off for every visitor, everywhere, permanently.

Our web host, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser user-agent) as a normal part of operating a website.

Cookies and your choices

How analytics cookies are handled depends on where you are, because the law differs:

Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage under the key sw-consent. Clearing your browser data will reset it.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (use the control above, or clear your cookies). You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. Where we process analytics data we do so on the basis of your consent; where we handle your contact-form message we do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to you.

If you are a resident of California, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of it. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email info@skidwick.com. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

International transfers

Our service providers — Google, Web3Forms, ImprovMX, Brevo, and Hostinger — may process data on servers in the United States. Where data originates in the EEA or UK, those transfers rely on the mechanisms those providers have put in place, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Children

This site markets industrial agricultural equipment to businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above.
