Targeted Weed Control.
Zero Damage
to Grass.
SkidWick is a patented herbicide wick applicator that wipes weeds at height — killing undesirables while leaving desirable grass untouched. Its unique terrain-following design automatically adjusts to ground contours, eliminating constant operator intervention.
How SkidWick Works
A simple, elegant system that solves what every other wick applicator gets wrong — uneven terrain.
Rope Wicks Saturated with Herbicide
The wick assembly uses rope wicks loaded with herbicide that wipe across the leaves and stems of tall weeds and grass — applying chemical contact exactly where it's needed.
Height-Adjustable Skid Legs
Extendable legs on the skids allow the operator to set the working height of the wick above the ground — targeting only weeds and tall growth taller than the desirable grass below.
Hinged Frame — Unique Terrain-Following Design
The main frame is hinged at the base of the attachment. Chains connect the gantry to the frame, and the operator can tilt the gantry to allow vertical travel of the wick assembly — automatically following ground contours without constant adjustment.
No Herbicide Reaches the Soil
Because the wick wipes directly on plant surfaces rather than spraying, herbicide stays on target. Desirable grass below the wick height is completely unaffected.
What No Other Wick Can Do
Every competing wick applicator is a rigid system. SkidWick is the only one that moves with the land.
Terrain-Following Motion
The hinged frame and chain gantry system allows the wick assembly to rise and fall with ground contours automatically — a capability no competing product offers.
Precision Targeting
Wipes weeds and tall grass at height without touching shorter desirable grass below. Chemical application stays exactly on the plant — not in the soil, not in the air.
Adjustable Working Height
Extendable skid legs let the operator dial in the exact wick height for any field condition — no tools, no complicated setup.
Patent-Protected
US Patent #12648512 protects the terrain-following design, giving licensing partners an exclusive competitive advantage no competitor can replicate.
Reduces Herbicide Cost
Direct contact application uses a fraction of the chemical required by broadcast spraying — a compelling cost savings message for every customer.
Protects Desirable Grass
Pasture owners, hay producers, and ranch operators can eliminate invasive weeds without sacrificing the grass they depend on — solving a problem with no good current solution.

Every Feature Solves a Real Problem
Six key components — each engineered to address a specific challenge operators face in the field.
Universal Mount Adapter
Euro & Skid Steer Compatible
The SkidWick attaches to a front-end loader via a quick-attach mount. Shown here with a Euro-to-Skid Steer adapter, the SkidWick can be manufactured with either Euro or Skid Steer attachment points — making it compatible with virtually any tractor on the market.
Hinge Assembly
The Heart of the Terrain-Following System
This heavy-duty pivot hinge at the base of the attachment is what makes SkidWick unique. It allows the entire main frame and wick assembly to travel vertically, rising and falling with ground contours automatically — without any operator adjustment.
Tilting Gantry & Chain System
Operator-Controlled Range of Travel
The red gantry at the top of the attachment connects to the main frame via heavy chains. The operator can tilt the gantry forward or rearward to set the desired range of vertical travel — critical for extremely rough terrain. The gantry also allows the entire wick assembly to be raised to clear narrow gates and obstacles.
Adjustable Parking Feet
Quick Attach & Detach in Seconds
Three adjustable feet lower into "Park" position to hold the entire SkidWick assembly off the ground when not in use. This keeps the wick in perfect alignment for fast, easy reattachment to the front-end loader mount — no jacks, no helpers, no hassle.
Height-Adjustable Skid
360° Rotation on Sealed Bearings
The skid leg height is set by removing a single pin, sliding the skid to the desired height, and reinserting the pin. The entire skid assembly rotates 360 degrees on heavy-duty sealed bearings — allowing it to follow the direction of travel on any terrain without binding or resistance.
Filler Cap & Drain Valve
5-Gallon Reservoir — 8 Hours of Operation
The wick pipe holds 5 gallons of herbicide — enough to keep the rope wicks fully saturated for 8 hours of continuous operation. The drain valve at the bottom allows any unused chemical to be recovered into a container for later use, eliminating waste and reducing operating cost.
